Book Fair

‘Travelling Books’ are returning to the Infant and Junior School on Wednesday 15th March. The Book Fair was a huge success in October and we raised over £300 worth of book vouchers for the school.

There will be a large selection of books suitable for children aged 4-11 years old, at great prices, so please come and have a look on 15th,16th, 17th and 20th March, before and after school.

If you will not be able to make the book fair, you can still support us by buying a book online. Just go to the online shop at: https://shop.scholastic.co.uk/free-books and start shopping! If you enter your school postcode RH1 6DZ (Infants) or RH1 6JX (Juniors), you can have the books delivered to school. This is also a great option if you would like to pay by card, as we can only take cash payments at school.

Please remember, you can use your World Book Day token at the Infant or Junior School book fair to get £1 off any full price book, as long as it costs £2.99 or more.

We hope to see you at the book fair next week!

Project: We have really enjoyed learning about teeth and how they decay through carrying out an investigation with egg shells and different liquids. We are now going to move on to finding out about the process of digestion and how saliva supports the start of this.

Reminders:

  • Our PE days are Monday and Thursday, however we would like PE kits to be in school at all times. Please put an extra pair of socks into your child's PE kit in case the weather changes (The weather in England is very unpredictable). Children do not come into school in their PE kit.
  • Reading books - everybody will get the opportunity to change their book twice a week.
  • Please make sure your child has wellington boots in school for when we go down to the woodlands.
  • Please make sure your child has a water bottle in school every day.
  • Children may bring a piece of fruit or some vegetables to eat at break time.
