Dear Parents/Carers,

During this period of home learning, your child’s work will be set via Google Classrooms. You can access their account by going to www.login.earlswood.school. This website contains user guides for setting up accounts on different devices and also has a link to your child's login details if you have lost them.

For parents using a personal chrome book (not ones provided by the school), set up is slightly different to other devices and must be done at a specific time because the system has to be disabled. Please also note that only one adult should be dropping off or collecting.

Thank you for being so understanding with the new guidelines and rules, we really do appreciate your support.

Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask one of us,

This week in the Nursery

Friday 18th September

This week…

This week we have made new friends, learnt new songs, and a new routine. You have all been such stars coming in for the first time without your grown-ups. Well done Ducklings, Chicks and Goslings!

Week beginning 21st  September

We will continue to learn all about our new routine and enjoy being with our new friends.

The story we will be looking at this week is ‘Owl Babies’ by Martin Waddell.

We will be continuing to sing familiar nursery rhymes and number songs, such as ‘five little ducks’ and ‘1,2,3,4,5, once I got a fish alive’.

A few messages…

Please remember to send the children in with water bottles, waterproof coat, bag with change of clothes and wellies.

Please also send your children in shoes with Velcro- no laces please. The children do take their shoes on and off throughout the day, for the quiet area or to wear their wellies. It has been tricky for us to recognise each child’s shoes without name labels. Please make sure all items are clearly named.

Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask one of us,

This week in the Nursery

Friday 11th September

This week…

This week we have loved meeting you all when you came in for your visits with your families. It was wonderful to see you enjoying the learning environment and seeing how excited you are to join us next week.

We are looking forward to seeing you on your settling sessions and getting to know you even better. We have such an exciting year planned and we can’t wait to get started.

We have been busy adding your photographs to your pegs, your trays and your picture disks to go onto the self-registration tree.

Week beginning 14th September

We will be enjoying our settling in sessions, reading lots of stories  together, enjoying the new learning environment and routine. We will spend lots of time getting to know each of you and helping you to feel happy in your new setting.

I’m sure we will be singing a few songs too, we love a song in Nursery.
