Well done to everyone for doing such an amazing job with your home learning this week. It has been so lovely to see all of the brilliant work that you have been doing at home, keep it up!!

Home Learning 11.1.21

Well done to everyone for getting through the first week of home learning. We are still running with a reduced number of staff due to illness.  We will try to respond to questions as quickly as possible but bear with us.

Home Learning - Week Beginning 4.1.21 and 11.1.21

Welcome back to Home Learning! We know this time is a little bit different as some children will be attending school. However, the work set at home is the same as what those children in school will be doing.

Below we have attached an overview of the learning for this week and next week. We would like to remind you that this work is compulsory so please contact us if your child is having issues completing it.

As before, the work for the children will be set on Google Classroom. In order for us to respond to their work effectively we would like them to upload/submit all of their work on Google Classroom. We understand that sometimes the children will be working on paper so if you are able to take a picture and upload it as their submitted work on Google Classroom rather than emailing it to their teachers that would be great!

The children will have the opportunity to have one live PSHE lesson with their class teachers. We have assigned you all one slot for each week so please make sure you know which day you are signed up for!

Alongside the work we are putting up for the children we would like to remind you that they can also carry on doing lots of reading, using Numbots and completing their phonics quizzes on Purple Mash. There are also some more ideas for home learning on our website:

https://www.earlswood.surrey.sch.uk/home-learning/

Thank you in advance for your perseverance and support!

Message about home learning - 4th January 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

During this period of home learning, your child’s work will be set via Google Classrooms. You can access their account by going to www.login.earlswood.school. This website contains user guides for setting up accounts on different devices and also has a link to your child's login details if you have lost them.

For parents using a personal chrome book (not ones provided by the school), set up is slightly different to other devices and must be done at a specific time because the system has to be disabled. Please activate your child’s account on Monday (4th January) between 12.00-12.30pm or 5.00-5.30pm. During these time periods, Google Classroom may not be accessible on other devices. If you have any problems accessing your child’s account, please email your child’s class teacher.

Yours faithfully,
