A Place to Learn Together
We offer Nursery Provision to Year 6
Owl class went to visit Redhill library on Tuesday. They were given a warm welcome by the staff. They were introduced to the Children's section and given information on how to join the library - an adult will need to go along with ID (driving licence) and a household bill. The child can then choose the card they want and then...they can take 20! Yes, up to 20 books out every 3 weeks! Owls had a great visit and were given a tour, finding out about how to use the self-serve machine and the photocopier. They met the staff at the Information desk and saw the computers, adult section, dvd's, audio books and the leaflet area for ideas of things to do in the local area. They had time to explore the fiction and non-fiction books in the children's section and were then read 'The Gruffalo's Child' before we returned to school for lunch.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
