School Lunches

We will continue to follow the new food standards which were introduced in January this year so that we can be sure that our children will get the nutrition they need across the whole school day.

Each week, our Midday Meal Supervisors will be on the look out for children that display good manners during lunchtimes. They will then be nominated to sit at the 'Top Table' on a Friday with a member of staff.

Our lunches are provided by Surrey Commercial Services. More information can be found at

The allergen requirements of the EU Food Information to Consumers Regulation came into force on 13 December 2014.  The legislation is implemented in the UK by the Food Information Regulations 2014. This legislation requires any caterer providing ‘loose food’ i.e. not pre-packed to provide information to customers of allergenic ingredients within dishes.

Earlswood Infant School

Every pupil in reception, year 1 and 2 will be eligible for universal free school meals.  We believe that the school lunchtime is a great opportunity for all our children to sit down together and enjoy their healthy and tasty meal, while developing their social skills.  We therefore hope that all parents will take up this offer of a free school meal for our infant children.

Earlswood Junior School

We continue to offer school dinners and packed lunches at Earlswood Junior School. Our hot dinners are prepared and cooked on site each day and are offered at a cost of £2.25 per day.

The Federation of Earlswood Schools recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice. Child protection forms part of the school’s safeguarding responsibilities.
