Reading books are going home this week. Please read each night with your child and record this in their reading record.
Week Beginning 23.9.24
Maths: We will be continuing our topic of Place Value, focusing more on numbers to 100. Specifically, we will be looking at amounts, ordering and comparing these and estimating where they should be on a number line.
Writing: In Writing this week, we will be finishing our unit looking at Setting descriptions. We will be writing a story using our own setting, including the toolkit. We will then be beginning our next cycle of persuasive writing with a hook.
Topic: Our topic this half term is 'Material World' we will be looking at categorising materials and looking at their properties. It would be lovely if you also looked at materials in everyday life and have discussions around this at home.
